Major Company actually helps environment

Who’s to say that energy companies don’t want what’s best for the world? AES, a major power producer is gong to invest 1 billion dollars in cutting down greenhouse gas’s, now that’s something you wouldn’t necessarily see coming now is it? 1 billion dollars is a hell of a lot of money, and power companies are supposed to be one of the evil forces on this planet, but AES has seemed to go against that grain.

Committing yourself to research of wind power, bio mass, and other natural gas stuff does not seem like a smart idea for a company like AES, but that might mean that… they actually care about the future of humanity? But what major company is going to care more about human life then their profit margin, especially when it comes to the energy world? I’m simply baffled, but this piece of unexpected news does show some hope for us all, but I doubt that it will create any kind of long lasting trend. Going green may be the new thing right now, but getting the green is always going to trump it.
